21.0 - Donation Page Overview


Our goal with the Reason Funding Donate Pages was to make it as simple as possible for you to create a new donate page without having to know HTML or rely on someone else to do it for you. 


21.1 - How to Access The Donation Page


1. First, on the “Welcome Home” screen, select the Fundraising” module located to the left-hand side of your screen in the sidebar menu.


2. Next, select the “Donation Pages” option in the drop-down menu below Fundraising.


3. Your donation page will now be displayed.


21.2 - How to Create a New Donate Page


To create a new donate page please follow the steps listed below...


1. First, on the Welcome Home” screen, select the Fundraising” module located to the left-hand side of your screen in the sidebar menu.


2. Next, select the “Donation Pages” option in the drop-down menu below Fundraising. You will notice another drop-down menu appear.


3. Your Donate page will now be displayed. This is where you can locate all of your active donate pages. 

4. To create a new donate page simply click the "Create New" button and follow the instructions below:


Step 1 - Donation Page Setup


1. Name Your Donation Page


2. Create a URL for donation page (don't use funky characters. Here is example: online-giving)


3. When you get to the "Set as Default Donation Page" section, you will be requested to make a decision. If this is your default donate page select “Yes”. If not select “No”.


4. Select the fund or funds for your donate page. If no funds appear once selected you will need to return to the funds pages and create a new fund.


5. Pixel Code / Body Pixel Code field: A tracking pixel is an HTML code snippet which is loaded when a user visits a website or opens an email. It is useful for tracking user behavior and conversions. With a tracking pixel, advertisers can acquire data for online marketing, web analysis or email marketing. 


6. Once all fields are complete select the "Submit and Next" button located towards the bottom of the page.


Step 2 - Design Donations Page


1. Upload your logo (recommended size 133x75)


2. Select your preferred "Header Color Background." 


Note:

If you would like to add links to the top of your donate page choose a header link color.


4. Select the "Primary Design Color" (this is the primary color that will be used throughout the donate page)


5. Select your preferred "Hover Color."


6. Select your preferred "Button Text Color."


7. Enter your "Donate Page Intro Title."


8. Enter your "Donate Page Message" (This is where you convince people to donate).


9. Enter the "Donate Button Amounts."


10. Select your preferred "Footer Color."


11. Select your preferred "Footer Text Color."


12. Enter a "Message or Slogan" to include in your footer.


13. Add the "Links" to your social media pages.


14. Enter right "Sidebar Text" in the next 3 fields


15. Select "Save Draft" and then the "Next" button after you have completed all required fields.


Step 3 (Thank You Page)


1. First, choose if you want your logo or text to be displayed on the "Success Page."


2. Next, upload a "Thank You Image." (Accessible via upload to File Manager)


3. Enter your "Thank You Message."


4. Enter your "Signature."


5. Upload a "Facebook Share Image." (Example Below)


6. Enter a "Facebook Share Heading." (Example Below)


7. Enter a "Facebook Share Description." (Example Below)

8. Select "Save Draft and Finish" button located towards the bottom of your screen once all required fields are complete.



21.3 - How to Edit a Donate Page


To edit donate page please follow the steps listed below...


1. First, on the Welcome Home” screen, select the Fundraising” module located to the left-hand side of your screen in the sidebar menu.


2. Next, select the “Donation Pages” option in the drop-down menu below Fundraising. You will notice another drop-down menu appear.


3. Your Donate page will now be displayed. 


4. To locate the page that you would like to edit, type the name of the page in the "Search" field or you can sort the Donate Page list by name by toggling the name column.


5. After you locate the page that you want to edit select the "Edit Page" button.


6. If you wish to edit "General Information" such as name this info can be located on Step 1.


7. Design elements such as donate page copy and colors can be found on Step 2. 


8. On "Step 3" you can edit information displayed on the "Thank You" page. This info includes Thank You graphic and message. 


9. At any time after making an edit simply click the "Save Draft" or "Finish" button.
